Since more than forty years the company Christoph Liebers GmbH & Co. KG is a partner for the knitting industry worldwide.Because of many very close contacts to the people in the knitting field a lot of new technologies, like partial hardening of knitting elements or the fully rounded edges were developed. The problems of the customers gave the motivation to the Liebers team to offer sinkers in a better quality, with more precision and in an even higher perfection. You will find more about the four product ranges of Christoph Liebers here.
With their latest development the sinker professionals of Liebers have set a milestone in the history of sinker production. The nanon is a knitting element, which reduces because of their surface texture the friction in a knitting machine significantly. This leads to a reduction in power consumption, lower temperatures, leas wear and tear, longer life of knitting elements, and a lower working load of knitting machines.
Well-known manufacturers of knitting machines have shown their interest for nanon shortly after the launch of the new surface structure. With some of them the Christoph Liebers GmbH & Co. KG already tests the microscopically small embedded cavities in the cylinder slots of the knitting machines of their latest generation. These small embedded cavities on the surface are holding the protecting oil even during the full production load on the sinkers and are reducing the friction. More about nanon
