Sinkers to be perfectly packaged

Not only the product itself also all other essential details need to be precisely organised. Especially, developed packing material protects the knitting elements with a special protective shell. It enables at the same time a completely free of pollution and oil-free mounting as well as a clean operation from the very start. The blue boxes, the red thread and the brown bags of Christoph Liebers GmbH & Co. KG from Germany are symbols for quality, reliabilty and tradition.

All listed products are in the country of destination within 48 hours after readiness for dispatch. Even custom-made productions reach their destination within very short time.

Visual appearance and the feeling are essential

The finished product underlies a final review by well-trained experts. At this stage each single sinker is manually and visually checked at a final inspection.

Minor defects are recognised by visual inspections and touching and will be sorted out from the staff of quality control. This process guarantees that each sinker will fulfil the extremely high demands for the high-tech machinery which is used for the knitting production for almost 100%.

Since more than forty years the company Christoph Liebers GmbH & Co. KG is a partner for the knitting industry worldwide.Because of many very close contacts to the people in the knitting field a lot of new technologies, like partial hardening of knitting elements or the fully rounded edges were developed. The problems of the customers gave the motivation to the Liebers team to offer sinkers in a better quality, with more precision and in an even higher perfection. You will find more about the four product ranges of Christoph Liebers here.

With their latest development the sinker professionals of Liebers have set a milestone in the history of sinker production. The nanon is a knitting element, which reduces because of their surface texture the friction in a knitting machine significantly. This leads to a reduction in power consumption, lower temperatures, leas wear and tear, longer life of knitting elements, and a lower working load of knitting machines.

Well-known manufacturers of knitting machines have shown their interest for nanon shortly after the launch of the new surface structure. With some of them the Christoph Liebers GmbH & Co. KG already tests the microscopically small embedded cavities in the cylinder slots of the knitting machines of their latest generation. These small embedded cavities on the surface are holding the protecting oil even during the full production load on the sinkers and are reducing the friction. More about nanon

These new developed kind of golden colored knitting elements are standing out due to their structurized surface. Microscopically small inclusions make the difference between the „nanos“ and the highly polished and mirror finished knitting elements.

In these “cup-shaped” cavities the oil will be retained, the constantly existing oil film is able to protect the whole surface. Scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute come to the conclusion that “significant differences in the adhesion factor and in the wear and tear behavior clearly appear.”
